Lindsay Ernst

Lindsay Ernst specializes in developing interdisciplinary experiential learning opportunities focused on advancing social justice and human rights.

Prior to joining the University of Hong Kong as a researcher and part-time lecturer in 2012, Lindsay was the Head of Clinical Programmes at the Justice Centre Hong Kong (formerly the Hong Kong Refugee Advice Centre) where she designed and launched the Refugee Legal Assistance Clinic in collaboration with the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Brooklyn Law School and the University of New South Wales. Prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2007, Lindsay was a Skadden Fellow with the Juvenile Rights Division of the Legal Aid Society of New York City and an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law. She has also served as a law clerk with the King’s County Family Court in New York and the Public Defender Service in Washington DC.
